Shadow in Afterglow begins with a beautiful ambient, electronica piece followed by experimental Buchla techno in Bouvier's signature style. Some inspiration behind the piece: “We wander the concrete catacombs together for hours. From such crushing depths, we both yearn for some truth that might set us free from the grayscale landscapes that have come to define our seasonless existence. The many non-places that now occupied a world once familiar resonated with an eerie hum. 'There is nowhere to go back to' a phantom of desire whispers in my ear, 'only stranger days lay ahead'.
