"Void Body" opens with breakneck velocity, a manic bout of tense reductionism that shifts into ruthless sub-bass heat, searing, syncopated rhythms and a hallucinatory sense of reversal. As with Arora’s recent output as Only Now, unexpected details emerge, as the track culminates in a passage of atmospheric guitar work that evokes the more expressive end of black metal as well as the hallowed heyday of 4AD. "Eternal Hunt" reprises the use of elements found on the previous, acclaimed Only Now release "Eternal Binding". Choral emanations sift into the ether, establishing a haunting interlude of modern kosmische musik that could just as well be a compelling curio from West Germany circa 1982 as it could an immersive, futuristic production from the Bay Area circa 2019. The title track and conclusion to the EP, "Blind Time", is a riot of subverted dancehall and virulent noise. A metal dance of percussion hits with laser guided precision as Arora lays down a brutal onslaught of claustrophobic low-end, eventually attaining a contrasting, suspended sense of release.
