The two of us have been working on music together for over two years, exploring new effects, timbres, and throwing anything we can at Ableton to see what sticks. These songs took shape as we applied our findings: field recordings of the wind and city, textured microsounds, recursive warping and resampling, and callbacks to our shared but distinct Chinese heritage. Colorless Green Ideas: made evolving, open-eared, and with love from places we’ve been and places we mean to go.
