Description
Today, and to commemorate this turning season and all transitions that come with it, we’re releasing Kamoun’s new EP titled “Caravan to Algiers”. Sketchy Lines co-founder Kamoun uses trippy melodies, dubby bass lines, and deep and grimey percussions to reflect on movement and nostalgia for where we’ve moved from. The first song “Caravan” is deep and downtempo, for walking and working, taking no pause. The second song “To Algiers” is dirtier, grimier, and features unpredictable samples that salute the joy of arrival. Where will you try to go when you listen to this EP? And where will you end up? Although we don’t know, we can rest assured there will always be bass.
