I flap my wings of imagination, my aims set high, to a place far beyond here. But the weight on my shoulders grows, as I push my tired self forward. What lies there, I wonder? This is a trial given to me. A barrier I must break. A rite of passage to a new world. But I have stopped trying to break through it. I simply decided to be here, with the familiar wall. And then, for the first time, I saw it. An unnamed flower at my feet, swaying in the wind. Just as the flower finds peace simply by being, so do I. And here, I can finally breathe, and feel the scent of a new beginning.
