Description
The Mould is my second full-length work. It makes use of semi-modular and modular synths. In general, the way I compose does not follow a pre-determined path. Sometimes I search for a sound. Melodic lines are often extrapolated by a process of subtraction: I make a pattern of 16 random notes, I keep 4 or 5 of them, just to make things clear. I leave a lot of room for randomness and in this particular aspect, modular synths are perfect. I am into the idea of preserving as much as possible the random melodic line I get from the overall modular process.
